and who might you be?

It's Monday, which means I'm posting beads, which means I have a ton to do, and not a lot of free time for chatting. But as I munch my cinnamon toast this morning (yes, it's as good as you remember), I find myself wondering who reads this, if anyone... It's OK if I'm all alone in here. It's good practice. But if I plan to mention things like Pirate Treasure, I want to know if anyone is listening... So, if you read this, do me a quick little favor please. Click "comments" at the end of this entry, and say something, anything, and leave your name if you want to. Don't send an email - I get too much email already! As always, when I start these little places that invite participation, I'd love to see you join in. Halloooooo? Anybody out there????

I read you when you email. I admire your efforts to give back and your commitment to doing it. Also your willingness to gently prod others into the same. I own a one world piece you made, a sister goddess or two, but only a few beads as I am just not as fast as your regulars.

I have a reminder set up in my calendar so I don't forget to read your blog each day.

I signed up for the "RED" project mentioned in your Saturday blog. What a wonderful idea! Thanks for letting us know about it.

I love seeing your beads each time you put some up too. They are just gorgeous!

Arrrr matey! And where be that treasure? I love reading your blog. I too feel like I have found a new friend. Did you notice in Pirates 2 that Captain Jack's dental hygiene went from scoundrelly scummy to quite kissable? Mmmm...the Deppster!

I check your site daily if I can, to see what's new with you, Rick, kids, goats etc, and, of course beads!! Your imagination is unbelievable, or you're just really lucky with glass! (The former, I think). Keep making the world a better place! SLS

I'm here in seattle and check your site and blog weekly. I love to read it, imagine you in a warm climate and though I cannot buy as many beads as I would like... am still busy drawing away. Too much work, work lately... susanne

I live in Vancouver, BC but grew up in Las Vegas, NM; so I read your blog partly for homesickness and mainly because you're such a positive presence in the world and make incredibly beautiful beads. I'd love to buy one but am currently spending all my spare money on glass rods.

I'm a published poet with a novel in the works who has recently fallen head over heels with making beads. Seems out paths are crossing. The days aren't long enough! By the way, in addition to Writing Down the Bones, read Annie Lamott's Bird by Bird. It's great.

Write and bead on,
ElJean Wilson

Kim,

I may not get to read your blog every day, but I do read all of it. You definitely make an impact. Sometimes when things get too hectic or when things just aren't going right, I read your blog, and your way of putting things helps me put things in perspective. So now, you're a therapist, too!

Thanks for all you do!

Gwen

Hi Kim, I do read your blog when the time permits as your email pops up on my work computer and so I just click on the links. I think your mom is beautiful!! The lake looks serene and lovely. I try to read up on what's happening at least twice a week. Hope to acquire one of your pieces one of these days.
